Gold Rock Beach at Lucayan National Park is one of the most beautiful beaches on Grand Bahama. Located about 45 minutes from Lucaya and 1 hour from the cruise pier, you will spot a lone telephone on the left side of the road, and if you see a car parked on the side of the road,that is probably the park entrance. Slow down and look left and you should see the sign and parking area. There is a compost toilet at the entrance, but no facilities at the beach whatsoever. There is a $3.00 per person park entrance fee. Cross the street and walk the path about 1/4 mile through the mangroves to the beach.

Blue holes, coral reefs, mangrove streams and turtle grass beds are all habitats for turtles, starfish, stingrays, nurse sharks, many kinds of fish, and countless other sea creatures that are the high spot of our tours. We also offer a hot lunch on one of or many astounding beaches. Swim and engage with trained dolphins in the protected waters and natural environment of The Dolphin Experience Lagoon. 4 times every day a ferry departs UNEXSO, found in Port Lucaya, for a twenty minute ride the south shore of Grand Bahama Island to go to Refuge Bay, where the dolphin lagoon is found. The lagoon where you will enjoy the encounter of a whole life with our friendly, trained Atlantic bottlenose dolphins. You can observe and picture the dolphins, take part in a swim with them, enroll in an aid tutor program or experience underwater diving with the dolphins in open water.
