"salt sea" Cottage was built in 2007/8 by a true Master Craftsman sparing no expense in the traditional details, quality, strength, and excellence as Man O War ship builders excel at! This Abaco Island-styled cottage is the benchmark of how homes were built and looked in the grand early days when Hope Town was the capital of Abaco. White painted 1x8 Cypress Tongue & Groove V-Joint ceilings, 8” Cypress Tongue & Groove wallboard in all rooms, 4” Tongue & Groove Pine flooring, Hardie Plank siding, custom made Red Cedar, Bahamian shutters, and window frames. Furniture and all appliances including a washer and dryer. "salt sea" was built so well that hurricane Dorian had virtually no effect on it. This lovely cottage was featured in the February 2011 "Coastal Living Magazine" and other issues as well.
